Remote Sensing

2025

"Remote Sensing" is an acrylic piece completed in October of 2025. Remote sensing is a term used in mapping that refers to looking at the earth through the view of a satellite. This is in reference to the organic shapes that are positioned throughout the piece. I was focusing on the feeling of searching for a past memory, name, or place while creating this painting. This work is a part of my upcoming exhibition called " Searching... " that will be on display in April of 2026 in the John J McDonough Museum of Art.
