Paintings
"Physique" is a self portrait done in acrylic that was completed in Fall of 2024. This was my first dive into abstraction and would greatly influence my future work and color palettes. It explores the viewers confrontation with my face even though direct eye contact is not given. The intense gaze of the figure implies something greater and more important off the canvas. This work was featured in the 88th Annual Juried Student Art & Design Exhibition at the John J. Mcdonough Museum of Art in 2025. It currently be seen in the Butler Museum of American Art starting on January 4th, 2026 as a part of the 86th Area Artist Annual.
This work is a part of my upcoming exhibition called " Searching... " that will be on display in April of 2026 in the John J McDonough Museum of Art.
